Guidelines for Projects

Projects can include drawing, labeling, storytelling, or simple writing (invented spelling or adult dictation is okay).

Include at least three places (home, school, a landmark) and 2 location words (like near, next to).

Optional: use photos, audio recordings, or simple digital maps.

Projects can be bilingual or in any form the child can express.

How Families Can Help
